Gregor Beiner, Chairperson of Taxis 4 Smart Mobility, will participate as a speaker in the session titled “How to Integrate Shared-Mobility Solutions in the Urban Mobility Ecosystem“, taking place on the third day of the Urban Mobility Days.
From 4th to 6th October, 2023, the Urban Mobility Days will bring together politicians, local authorities, industry, and urban transport practitioners with the European Commission. The aim of this three-day event is to foster collaboration, facilitate knowledge-sharing, and engage in constructive discussions to shape a sustainable, innovative, and equitable future for urban mobility across Europe. As 2023 is the European Year of Skills, this year’s Urban Mobility Days will have a specific focus on transport skills.
Among other issues, the session on Shared Mobility, taking place on October 6th, will delve into how to integrate shared mobility solutions and make them complementary to public transport within the urban mobility system. The panelists and moderator will include:

However, as the popularity of shared mobility increases, there is a pressing need to integrate these services more effectively into the urban mobility ecosystem. This means improving connections with public transport and tackling the last-mile challenge, particularly in areas where access to public transport is limited and services are infrequent.
